Housekeeper / Laundry Attendant Job at Image Hotel Management
The Fairfield Inn and Suites Columbus Canal Winchester is now hiring!
We are looking for housekeepers and laundry attendants.
Housekeeping Job includes but is not limited to
- Cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company & brand standards to ensure the
highest level of cleanliness. Also ensures public areas are clean. - Stocks and maintains housekeeping carts and storage rooms.
- Offers guest assistance when needed whenever possible.
- Greets guests when in visible contact and displays a friendly attitude with a smile under all
circumstances. - Individual may be cross-trained as Laundry Attendant/Houseman to provide assistance as needed.
- Work as a team and possess a can do attitude.
- Additional duties from a supervisor/hotel manager will be assigned as necessary.
Laundry Attendant Includes but is not limited to
- Sort linens for washer
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment,
rewash, or discard bin. - Operate and maintain washers and dryers per the designated times and temperatures.
- Fold all linens to hotel standards and stock in an organized neat manner.
- Wash bedspreads, mattress pads, blankets and shower curtains per instructions.
Ensure curtains are air dried as the dryer will melt the fabric. - Keep laundry area clean and neat.
- Assist Housekeepers in other areas such as public area cleaning when laundry is slow
or work is caught up. - Additional duties from hotel manager will be assigned as necessary
