Family Development Services (FDS) is a provider of high-quality child care and pre-kindergarten education. We are thrilled to share that over 2,500 children in Hamilton and Marion County, Indiana were able to receive services from FDS. In the state of Indiana, preschool is not mandated, so without programs like this, children who can’t afford preschool might not get the Head Start they need to be successful in life.

As a provider of Head Start programming, FDS maintains high quality standards to ensure all students are receiving the best opportunity for success. Unlike a traditional daycare, teachers and teacher assistants are provided with lesson plans, resources, and support. With 10 locations across the Greater Indianapolis area, FDS has many opportunities for educators and students alike. This is not a daycare!

All of our positions require employees to be passionate, caring, flexible, and motivated. These are face to face roles that require you to be in person, working with children, and communicating with parents regularly. Both teachers and Classroom Assistants are essential to the success of students.

Highschool Diploma + CDA- $16.20

Associates in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent- $17.92/hr

Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent- $21.78/hr

Masters or Higher in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent- $23.76/hr

Infant/Toddler Teacher

High School Diploma + CDA- $16.30

CDA + 32 Credit Hours in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent- $16.20

Associates in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent- $17.57

Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent- $19.39
