Department/Organization: 504103 - Grounds

Normal Work Schedule: 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

Job Summary: Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to operate tools, equipment and machinery used in groundskeeping operations. Must be able to lift, handle and maneuver the tools, materials and supplies of the job.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice. This position will often require long days, on your feet, standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. Over 8 hour days may be required based on the condition of the grounds and campus event schedules. This position will be required to work during all climates of weather, hot, cold rain, etc., depending on season.
Final candidate will be subject to a thorough background investigation prior to employment. Final candidate must submit to and successfully pass a post offer drug test

Preferred Qualifications: In order to move to Level I of the Career Ladder, must have valid U.S. driver's license, be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.
