General Warehouse

Primary Objective:

Receives goods from customers and unloads and inventories those goods. Picks, (using iPads) packs, (gift wrapping experience a plus) and scan using (RF scanner)

Principle Duties and End Results

1. Receives goods delivered to the warehouse for storage by unloading the merchandise from the trucks and checking that goods match delivery documents in quantity and without any defects.

2. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

3. Ensures a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

4. Properly uses equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.

5. Confirms accuracy of customer orders and reports any order discrepancies.

6. Follows job expectations, processes, procedures and requirements as prescribed by corporate guidelines.

7. Executes routine customer projects, as assigned.

8. Participates in physical inventory counts, as needed.

9. Maintains productivity to the established standard (or to maintain a high level of efficiency and effectiveness).

10. Completes reports or logs by entering required information.

11. Maintains technical knowledge needed to perform the job.

12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.

13. Operates and maintains warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

Able to lift to 25 pounds.

Able to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Able to perform basic math.

Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Able to communicate clearly and effectively verbally.

Good organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ashville, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
