FT Custodial Technician Floater Job at Blackstone Consulting
Apply Today! Seeking an experienced Custodial Technician to maintain our facilities. We are looking for a floater to help with Oakridge, Palo Alto and our Stoneridge locations.
The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in cleaning and tidying the premises
The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.
Responsibilities
Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
Detailing Bathrooms and Office spaces
Wipe mirrors and windows
Report major damages and oversee repairs
Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarm
Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks
Skills
Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
Attention to detail and conscientiousness
Very good physical condition and strength
High school diploma is preferred but not required
Schedule:
Tuesday at Oakridge 8am-4:30pm
Thursday at Palo Alto 11:30am - 8:00pm
Friday at Oakridge 2:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday at Stoneridge 11:30am - 8:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pleasanton, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
