We are currently hiring for Front Desk Agents both part time and full time. Shifts will mainly include 3rd shift work, but hours will vary as we are willing to work with the right candidate. As a hotel, we are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. This requires employees to work weekends and holidays. Wage is negotiable based on education and experience and will be discussed during the interview.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will check guests in and out courteously and efficiently, process all payments according to established hotel requirements, provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors, assist in keeping all public areas clean and more. Role Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Clerk or Guest Services Clerk you have the responsible to give our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by:
· Assisting guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
· Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
· Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner
· Post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures as required
· Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
· Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers)
· Be a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
· Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
· Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
· Laundry as required
· Cleaning as required.
· Other various tasks to be performed consistently or periodically as set forth by the hotels leadership team.
Experience
· Hotel or customer relations experience desired, but not required.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule, 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, weekdays and weekends
· Team player
· Moderate computer skills
· Positive personality with customer service skills required
