What Does A Food Services Coordinator Do:
- Preparation, distribution and service to patients, cafeteria, catering and other customers
- Oversees and maintains quality control monitors and takes corrective action as necessary
- Assists with TM functions to include interviewing, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, coaching and scheduling,
- Coordinates TM orientation, training and competency assessment,
- Monitors the overall security of the department,
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Certifications and Licensures
Required
- ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification within 1 year of hire
Required
- High School or Equivalent
- 1 year Food Services
- 1 year Coordinator Role in a related field
- Work with a team
- Interpersonal skills
- Work independently
- Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Delegation skills
- Organizational skills
- Work with minimal supervision
