Responsibilities:

This position will provide coverage for intensive outpatient groups, level I outpatient groups, DUII groups, individual sessions, case management needs, and assessment coverage as assigned. Methods of service will include both in person or telehealth as needed. May travel for in person group coverage. Will be provided laptop for some remote work options in telehealth coverage. Primary office location will be in Eugene, with laptop assigned for some work from home options.

As part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to providing healing and hope to patients, families, and communities affected by substance use disorder, SUD Counselors at Serenity Lane:

• Create a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals and families that facilitates the exploration of the chemical dependency.
• Counsel individuals in one-on-one and group sessions.
• Maintain records according to OAR, ASAM, CARF, and Serenity Lane’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure people in our care have individualized service plans.
• Collaborate with professional staff on treatment plans for patients and provide outside referrals as needed.
• Comply with all in-house and third-party reporting responsibilities and protocols.

Qualifications:

· Current Oregon CADC I certification required, or ability to obtain one within six months.

· Oregon CADC II a plus.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma

· 2 years in SUD outpatient Treatment preferred.

· Electronic Health Record experience preferred.

• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook a plus.

· Experience working in a behavioral health facility a plus.

Requirements:

• Proof of fully-vaccinated status or possession of Religious or Medical exemption to comply with Oregon mandate.
