Electroplating Technician
Due to continued increased demand, Penn United Technologies, Inc. is hiring immediately for full-time Electroplating Technicians to work at our rapidly growing Plating facility. We will provide on-the-job training for you. We are looking for self-motivated, dependable individuals. This position does require the ability to regularly rotate daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts with a 10% shift differential
OR be able to work a steady afternoon or steady midnight shift with a 15% shift differential.

Electroplating Technician Responsibilities
:
- Work on the plating shop floor in order to learn required job tasks
- Splice plating lines together and prepare parts for shipping
- Maintain job tracking system
- Ensure that chemical inventories are adequately maintained at all times and that orders are properly filed
- Follow all safety and quality plans
- Study the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectively
- Rotate, on a weekly basis, from daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts OR work a steady afternoon or steady midnight shift
Electroplating Technician Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Technical, mechanical and math ability
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work daylight, afternoon, and midnight rotating shifts OR prefer to work a steady afternoon or midnight shift
- Able to lift 50 lbs., and stand/walk for 8 hours.
