Electrician A
Under the guidance of the Supervisor, You will perform the installation, service, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, systems and devices. This is a skilled trade and technical position with no supervisory responsibility.
This is a full time day, Monday - Friday 8am - 4 pm with alternating weekends, position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
- New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems S-95
- Variable work shifts
- Minimum of three of experience as an electrician
- Knowledge of New York City and National Electrical Codes
- Working knowledge of Electrical Safety, OSHA Safety Practices and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
