Responsibilities

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Per Diem Driver provides authorized transportation services to patients upon discharge from the hospital or to approved appointments. Performs a variety of transportation-related activities such as delivering supplies between local UHS locations. As time warrants or need require, may perform non-transportation related activites, including clerifical functions, mail sorting and delivery, or other assigned tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance records and logs
  • Provides transportation services with sensitivity to patient condition
  • Identifies and requests vehicle supplies and repairs as needed

Qualifications


Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's license with clean driving record, no moving violations within the last five years
  • Commercial or Chauffeur's license are preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance required
