  • Leading a team of frontline employees to accurately account for any inventory movements within the warehouse while working in a fast-paced direct store delivery and warehouse environment.
  • Work proactively with the operations department and delivery drivers to identify and correct any issues that are found.
  • Collaborate with the route planner and the rest of the operational team to ensure efficient routing while minimizing truck breakage and returned cases to the branch.
  • Solicit feedback from the drivers regarding their delivery routes and how they may improve overall route efficiencies. Monitor KPI metrics and address any gaps.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure accurate reflection of inventory levels.
  • Collaborates with the operational team to ensure a Warehouse Floor Plan that maximizes space and to allow for the most efficient way for loading / unloading of trucks and special event trailers.
  • Direct oversight of the mis-picked cases and damaged cases that are loaded on delivery trucks. Communicating this information back to the warehouse for remedial action.
  • Assists in weekly / monthly inventory physical count, investigate any variances and adjust variances to ensure an accurate inventory report daily.
  • Collaborates with union representatives to cultivate a positive working relationship as it relates to company objectives. (CBA negotiations, grievance and arbitration hearings, FMLA monitoring, and Workers Comp cases)
  • Assists with checking trucks in to ensure accurate inventory recording returning to the branch.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of payroll hours for frontline employees.
  • The ability to work flexible hours (Including nights & weekends)
  • Excellent organizational skills. (Including balancing multiple projects simultaneously)
  • The ability to work across various software platforms: Microsoft office, ASA 400, routing solutions, inventory counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • The ability to interpret and apply the collective bargaining unit agreement on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift a minimum of 25 pounds from overhead to waist to curb level and a maximum of 50 pounds from waist to curb level. Handle and maneuver a loaded 2-wheel handcart with up to 200 pounds of packaged beer. (Traversing curbs, ramps, stairs, etc.)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and bondable.
  • Previous experience in the beverage industry is preferred.
  • Active P.I.T. license with electric pallet jack and forklift certifications preferred.
  • Must have a high school education. (College education preferred)
